Improve Droid Sound Quality0

Today I got a text message from a reader wanting to know how to improve the sound quality of their droid.

Here is a quick step-by-step guide to doing that. However, keep in mind that sound quality is a thing of opinion and results may very!

1. Click the phone icon
2. Dial ##7764726
3. Click the Green Phone Icon or Call Button
4. You will then be asked for a SPC password
5. Enter 000000  (That is 6 Zeros)
6. Then click the Verify button
7. You will then see the programming Menu
8. Select option 04 or whatever option is titled “Vocode”
9. By default the option “EVRC” should be selected
10. To “improve” call quality select “EVRC-B” and click Apply
11. Then click the back button on the phone
12. Your phone will then reboot
13. When it comes back up you are done!

So now you can be the judge as to whether or not your call quality is better.

Be advised that this will cause your battery to drain faster… yes, even faster than it already does!
